This Quilt features Stag & Thistle, the new line by Designer Brett Lewis for Northcott. Brett will be teaching his Meadow Valley quilt pattern, which he describes bringing him full circle to his earliest childhood years growing up in Meadow Valley in Summerland, B.C. Fusing the flora and fauna that inspired his premiere line, he designed this pattern with his favourite piecing techniques in mind - foundation paper piecing, curves, and fussy cutting. Students will not finish the quilt during this class, but will receive an introduction to foundation paper piecing, curves, and fussy cutting. Depending on the student, various blocks from the quilt will be completed. All Students will have the skills necessary to take project home and complete it.
