- 8 Fat Quarters for Large Diamonds, varying from medium to dark (yellow, light blue, medium blue, aqua, turquoise, sapphire, indigo, coral were used in the sample)
- 4 Fat Eighths for Small Diamonds in low volume colors (cream, blond, pink and ultra light blue were used in the sample)
- 3 1/2 yards background fabric
- 1/2 yard binding (you don’t have to bring to class)
Stacey Day - Sparkle
Students will learn to master a modern Cathedral Window style of piecing and folded curves in two sizes. The quilt layout combines the modern concepts of minimalism, negative space, and alternate grid work to create a shower of stars.
